Valentin is a filmmaker based in Zurich. In his films he observes quiet moments and subtle gestures, exploring the extraordinary within the everyday.

He graduated from the Zurich University of the Arts with his film HALBI GSPRÖCH, which screened at Kurzfilmtage Winterthur and Züri Shorts. As an editor, he worked on MOTËR by Dorentina Imeri, which screened at festivals including Fribourg, Oberhausen and Locarno. More recently, he directed the episode SENSHISUNI for Futura Season 2, presented at the Solothurner Filmtage in 2025.

In 2025, he co-founded the Film Culture Association NEBELZONE and became a junior member of the Swiss Association of Film Directors and Screenwriters (ARF/FDS).

In 2026, he begins his studies in Film Editing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
