Valentin is a filmmaker based in Zurich. In his films he observes quiet moments and subtle gestures, exploring the extraordinary within the everyday.

He graduated from the Zurich University of the Arts with his film HALBI GSPRÖCH showned at Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, Züri Shorts. As an editor, he worked on MOTËR by Dorentina Imeri, which screened at renowned festivals including Fribourg, Oberhausen and Locarno. More recently, he directed the episode SENSHI SUNI for Futura Season 2, presented at the Solothurner Filmtage in 2025.

In 2025, he co-founded the Film Culture Association NEBELZONE and became a junior member of the Swiss Association of Film Directors and Screenwriters (ARF/FDS).
